George's win in San Francisco was more impressive than Gent Wevelgem. George looks to be both physically and mentally strong.

Correct me if this is off, but hasn't George had:
* a very strong Spring Classics season
* a decent First Union series building up to a strong TdS and TdF
* so far a very strong Fall season highlighted by the MvZ WC race, and now the GP San Francisco.

Given good support he can win one of the Fall Classics or the World RR championship.
I felt compelled to give my opinion on why the talk about GH moving to another team is just plain off the mark. Look, I want to have George win the Queen of the Classics as much as any other cycling fan out there. I really felt, like many others, that this was the year. The win in Gent was a clear indicator that GH was "on song" as they say in Britain. A win in Roubaix looked good. A lot of people are asking "where was Postal?" and saying that he had no team support....

Congratulations on a great race. Anyone who says that cycling is not a team sport is a fool . Maybe if Frankie was still racing and maybe a rouler like Cedric Vasseur were up there with you , things could have been different . I don't know what you can do against four teammates after 200 plus kilometers , flats and falls . Not since Davis Phinney has the U.S. had classics contenders like Lance and yourself . Good luck in the rest of the season....maybe next year it will be you first into the...

It seems that the discussion board over at hincapie.com was closed and merged into this one. I think that's a good idea, as that board seemed to have virtually no traffic.

I assume Chris Brewer has put a combined site together, but wanted to hear from him about what the official plan is. Of course no one in the bar but myself even recognized him! I was telling everyone I worked with and they were like, "who?". Hopefully, if he stops in again I will get a chance to talk to him about his winter training.
Anyone have any stories about meeting their favorite cyclists?
