We have done this before, but it nearly always generates a ton of responses. Cyclists do love to talk about their bikes.

I have 2 bikes in my regular rotation, both road.

97 Bianchi Alloro, of course in the color celeste.
Frame: steel, can't describe it much better than that.
Gruppo: Campy Athena / Veloce mix
Saddle: Specialized Body Geometry, the kind with the cutout in the vital area. It is more comfortable.
Wheels: 20-spoke Campy Vento. Awesome wheels, haven't touched them once since I've had the bike, unless you count cleaning.
Pedals: Look compatibles, good ones (don't feel like looking to find out exactly).
Weight: approx 24 lbs.
Cost: $1400 (US) when I bought it in 98.

93 Prism Professional, color is chrome and a sort of green.
Frame: 3.0 Aluminum Professional
Gruppo: Sachs New Success. Performs flawlessly, but I never see it on other bikes. A friend tells me Sachs is popular in South America.
Saddle: Specialized Body Geometry. It works so well on my other bike, I got it for this one.
Wheels: 32-spoke Mavics. Good wheels, but not as good as the Campy Ventos.
Pedals: Look compatibles.
Weight: just under 21 pounds.
Cost: $1400 (US) when I bought it in 94.

Both bikes work well for me, although they are showing signs of serious wear, especially the Prism. The Prism is the racing bike, and the Bianchi is the long ride/touring bike. Lately, I've been taking the Bianchi out a lot more than the Prism.
