Mmmm - well oneradtec, I worry about Tyler working for Bjarne Riis. In his book Tour de Vices, Bruno Roussel cites BjRi as the father of EPO use in cycling from way back in Telekom days - so BjRi knew about that well ahead of the rest of the peloton. What does he know about now? And is he looking after our Typer proper like? I worry about these things - what with men in their early 20s dropping dead from heart attacks.

I think Tyler has the legs, the leadership, the nous and the robust personality required to win the TdF. I think his team lacks the power of USPS presented by Berry Floor (thanx for that great joke Tradewinds). Where is his experienced, dedicated, I want the team to win, comptroller (Ekimov)? Where are his legs to lead the tortuous rolling stages, and motviate the troops through these hard days (Hincapie)? And what about them thar hills? Where are his gnarly wee climbing buddies? Tyler definitely has what it takes (and may be taking what it needs too) but by my reckoning, he doesn't have the team. Multi-stage road racing is all about the team.

Simoni - now there's a man with a great team. Aren't Once having a quiet start to the season?
