"Millar seems to be coming around. He looks like yet another contender for a top 5 finish. I suspect he'll ride much like Hamilton, only slightly better in all facets."

I doubt it. Millar's such a crybaby, if things aren't going well for him from the start, he'll have trouble. He looked good yesterday, and that's a good sign for him to get off on this tour on the right foot, but I think he's too much like Casagrande or Frigo when it comes to three weeks. And a lot like Casagrande in terms of acting like a spoiled brat.

Hamilton is tough as nails and can do no wrong. He's had a restful May and is ramping up the intensity. He's finished a lot of grand tours, knows what pain is, and kicked a lot of butt in the giro/tour back to back last year.
