I think the course favors a time trialist that can climb rather than a climber...why? no real uphill finishes...plenty of time to regroup on the descents. The pack will break up, but they will be coming in in groups of 5-20 at the finish....depending on the road surface.
I don't see Hamilton making up 45 seconds or so on Millar, Mayo, LANCE, or Leipheimer so I don't see him in a position to think about winning this one.
Beetle, baby-making is on the horizon.
